For those who want to straighten a 5/6-cyl white engine in 740 /940 and without any inclination.
The mounts are made to fit the oil pan from the 6-cyl. the engine from the 960/S90/V90.
If you are going to use a 5-cyl. engine, the oil pan must be shortened to fit.
With these mounts, the engine gets a 0 degree tilt and therefore the oil pan has to be modified further and also the gearbox.
These mounts have several different bolt pitches to fit Volvo 5/6-cyl blocks up to -07. However, on certain editions of blocks, some modification must take place in the form of e.g. cuts off a small piece of the bracket (but unusual). This is because there are so many different variants. Or in any case use prepared attachment holes that are not threaded from the factory as in those cases there are no more holes to use. But most of the time it’s just a matter of screwing it in.
With these mounts, there is also the possibility of still having a functioning AC pump.
